Airlie Center's commitment to the environment is reflected in the wide range of green initiatives that make up the Center's Pollution Prevention Program. This program develops and implements sustainable business practices that will help to minimize the impact of the Center's operations on the environment. Green initiatives at Airlie include:

• Use of non toxic paints, and cleaning products and detergents
• Energy efficient compact fluorescent & LED lighting
• Organic grounds keeping and nature preserve on the property
• Use of recycled content paper products (paper, toilet paper, paper towel, Kleenex and napkins)
• Linen and towel reuse program
• Water saver toilets and shower heads, Energy Star (or equivalent) appliances
• Emphasis on nature based recreational activities
